Q 1)A pipe can empty a tank in 60 minutes. Another pipe with diameter twice as much as that of the first is also attached with the tank to empty it. In how many minutes, both pipe together can empty the tank ?

Q 2)Priya can do 1/2 of a piece of work in 5 days. Ronit can do 3/5 of the same work in 9 days and Chintu can do 2/3 of that work in 8 days. In how many days can all three together can complete the work ?

Q 3)A contractor decided to build a Dam in 75 days. He employed 225 men at the beginning and another 120 men after 25 days and completed the work in the stipulated time. If he had not employed the additional men, how many days behind schedule would it have been finished?

Q 4) 3 men & 4 women finish 25% of work in 4 days while 8 men & 15 women can finish the whole work in 5 days. In how many days will 13 women finish it?

Q 5)A cistern has two taps which fill it in 12 minutes and 15minutes respectively. There is also a waste pipe in the cistern. When all the 3 are opened, the empty cistern is full in 20 minutes. How long will the waste pipe take to empty the full cistern ?
