1.According to WHO, first 3 cases of Zika virus in India have reported from Ahmedabad.

This includes a pregnant lady tested in January. All the three cases are from the Bapunagar area of the Ahmedabad city. Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry also reported three confirmed cases of Zika virus disease in Bapunagar area on it's website.

2.Itsuki Moritaset set new Guinness record for being world's youngest club DJ.

he played an hour-long set at a restaurant in Japan. Itsuki Morita, who has just started attending elementary school in Japan, played a number of tracks using professional DJ decks in front of a big crowd of both adults and other kids in Tokyo.

3.North Korea tests new anti-aircraft guided weapons system.

According to the State News Agency, KCNA, the test was conducted by the Academy of National Defence Science. However, KCNA did not report the exact nature of the weapon or the time of the test. North Korean leader Kim Jong Un supervised the test and ordered its mass production and deployment throughout the country. The North Korea has been pushing to develop a wide range of weapon systems since early last year at an unprecedented pace including a long-range missile capable of striking the mainland United States and has in recent weeks tested its intermediate-range ballistic missile, making some technical advances.

4. Apple opened its first Southeast Asia store in Singapore.

It has drawn hundreds of excited fans to the swanky two-storey site in the city’s upmarket shopping district. Located on the affluent Orchard Road, the new shop — easily distinguished by its iconic glass facade — is expected to be one of the most popular Apple stores in the world according to the US tech giant.

5.India's first manned mission ‘fat boy’ will be launched by ISRO on june 5.

The launch of indigenous rocket GSLV Mk III, which is said to be as heavy as 200 fully grown elephants, on June 5 would pave the way for India's first manned mission as it would make Isro capable of sending humans into space. Currently, only three countries--US, Russia and China-- have the capability of launching manned missions.GSLV Mk III, Isro's 'fat boy' as it is the country's heaviest (weighing 640 tonnes) but smallest rocket (43 metre), will have a new and advanced indigenous cryogenic engine to lift it off to the geostationary orbit.

6. IOC overtakes ONGC to become India's most profitable public sector company.

IOC, which has for decades been India's biggest company by turnover, posted a 70 per cent jump in net profit to Rs 19,106.40 crore in the financial year ended March 31, 2017. This was more than the Rs 17,900 crore net profit ONGC posted in the 2016-17 fiscal, making IOC the most profitable PSU .Billionaire Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries retained the crown of being India's most profitable company for the third year in a row, posting a net Rs 29,901 crore in financial year 2016-17. Tata Consultancy Services, India's largest software services exporter, with a net profit of Rs 26,357 crore was the second most profitable company in the country.

7. Pune city police receive FICCI Smart Policing Award 2017.

Pune Police Commissioner Rashmi Shukla received the award from BJP MP Meenakshi Lekhi during a programme organised by FICCI and Vivekanand International Foundation on Homeland Security in Delhi on May 25. The programme focussed on the use of modern technology for countering internal security issues.

8. South Korea today won badminton's Sudirman Cup for the first time in 14 years.

The South Koreans Choi Sol-Gyu and Chae Yoo-Jung beat Lu Kai and Huang Yaqiong of China 21-17, 21-13 in the mixed doubles match. The victory, their first in the biennial tournament since Eindhoven in 2003, ended China's 14-year grip on the Sudirman Cup.

9. C A Bhavani wins gold in Turnoi satellite fencing championship.

India's C A Bhavani Devi has won the gold medal in the sabre event of the Turnoi Satellite Fencing Championship held at Reykjavik in Iceland. In the final yesterday, she beat Sarah Jane Hampson of Great Britain 15-13.

10.Sebastian Vettel delivers first victory for Ferrari at Monaco Grand prix.

Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel won a slow-burning Monaco Grand Prix to extend his championship lead over Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton to 25 points. Vettel led home team-mate Kimi Raikkonen after passing the Finn by running longer to their only pit stops.
