1.UG has launched a GST training programme to skill around 2 lakh youths in 6 months under PMKVY. The new training course would cater to the need of GST trained professionals to help businesses in areas such as registration and calculation of tax liability under the new tax regime. The people would be trained under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY). 3. Former Chief Minister of Sikkim, Nar Bahadur Bhandari passes away. The former Chief Minister of Sikkim, Nar Bahadur Bhandari, 76 has passed away in New Delhi today. The three times Chief Ministers of state breathed his last in a hospital. Mr. Bhandari who was the founder leader of Sikkim Sangram Parishad had governed Sikkim from 1979 to 1994. The Chief Minister, Pawan Chamling described Mr. Nar Bahadur Bhandari a worthy son of soil and in his condolence message said the state and the people of Sikkm have lost a great leader . |
